<p dir="ltr">This eight-week course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to counsel children effectively. Participants will learn about child development, counseling theories, and techniques specific to children's needs.</p> <p dir="ltr"><i>Course Objectives:</i></p> <p dir="ltr"><ul><li><span style="font-size:0px" ;="">-</span> Understand child development and psychology</li><li><span style="font-size:0px" ;="">-</span> Learn counseling theories and techniques for children</li><li><span style="font-size:0px" ;="">-</span> Develop skills in assessment, goal-setting, and intervention planning</li><li><span style="font-size:0px" ;="">-</span> Understand play therapy and other creative interventions</li><li><span style="font-size:0px" ;="">-</span> Learn to work with children experiencing trauma, anxiety, or behavioral issues</li><li><span style="font-size:0px" ;="">-</span> Develop cultural competence in child counseling</li></ul></p>
